A CLASSIC JUNGLE BOOT WITH ALTBERGS NEW PANAMA ULTRA LIGHT SOLE AND NON METALLIC UNDER FOOT PENETRATION (SPIKE) RESISTANCE.
The new Jungle Panama Lite Mk 2 (2019) uses Altbergs new lightweight, shock absorbing jungle sole, which combines the classic jungle tread with a layer of shock absorbing, lightweight micro.
Under foot protection is provided by a stab proof specially woven material, which is laminated to a moulded polypropelene midsole to give excellent flex and torsional control under the foot, as well as protection.
The new stab proof midsole has a penetration resistance equal to or better than many of the more conventional steel midsoles used in ‘old style’ jungle boots, it also has the advantage that it will not rust or degrade with use. The new footbed has a mesh cover which has zero moisture retention.
